The Bifengxia Panda Base, part of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP), is a large facility that works on rearing, breeding, and rescuing Pandas, and is open to the public for education and research activities. It is currently home to the world's largest captive Panda population: 165 animals, 60% of the total captive Pandas worldwide.

While at Bifengxia we worked with adult, sub-adult, and infant Pandas, helping the staff feed the animals, cleaning their enclosures, recording their activities, etc.
